So if Moyes demotivates, why is nobody on the players back? Let's get this right, he demotivates the fans, there's nothing to surgest he demotivates the players. I think they've worked hard in games. They're just ****ing ****! our squad just isn't premier league standard, why can't we just accept this? Dave's got enough faults without having to side step the biggest problem by scapegoating him with it. We didn't get enough to spend. For Moyes, Sam, Sir Alex, BIg Phil or Conte. Pick any manager, it wasn't enough money for anybody you hypothetically put in charge.

You are right Bri sill doesn't get away from the fact he isn't right for our club and he's still s hite.

Just makes me like the bloke even more we still have the useless t wats he wanted to get rid of and guess what we are relegated. <doh>
I fail to understand why the man was not allowed to outline the plan and task to which he was set to impliment, the supporters would have had a true understanding instead of the wild assumptions taken by many,a good read which explains a lot.

Why??? He's the clown who has destroyed our club this season. We should chase him away from the north-east NOW and never let him return.Reports in Saturday's papers say that he wants to stay and re-build our club. What a joke...he's been a flop at his last three clubs.....why would we want him to stay any longer than this month??
Last time I looked it was Mr Shorts club & like Bri says, don't let it get you so worked up, it's not yours!

Find myself agreeing with you on all of this. I don't rate the bloke but I think he's done as well as anyone could this year. I wouldn't sack him unless it looks like he's going to take us down next year. I'd like to see him try and build a squad, that can contend in the championship, from young players and budget signings from the lower leagues.

I just have no faith in any manager under this ownership, they are all doomed to fail so why keep paying them off, why not just let one crack on for once. Moyes hasn't taken us down. Ownership, bad decisions and bad signings over the course of a decade have.

Just have to wait it out, how ever long that will be. Then see what the new owner brings. They almost always bring in their own man if the teams are in an unhealthy position.

In the meantime making unrealistic demands and refusing to accept reality only works up themselves. It's ****ing boring too. <laugh>

Agreed on everything. Payoffs which put us further into debt can only hinder the speed of the sale. Short decided to cut us off with on field funding, I wasn't happy but now it done and it's got us relegated, I want him to remain consistent, cut costs so we can get shot asap, another multi million pound pay off won't help that.

There's a new era coming, could turn out bad could turn out good, but prolonging this nightmare of an era and delaying the new one is not something I want personally.

Here's an inside curve ball for you......Who could get a better return on an investment, in this case SAFC than Short & thus want to risk buying it for his price :emoticon-0112-wonde

But his price will be lowered as he claws money back. Most of the debt is owed to him which is why the price is high. Our reported player average wage works out at £1.87m per year, compare that to the average player wage in the championship of 486k, with a full tv deal coming 3 years of para payments and player sales, it's easy to see how he's going to make the savings he needs to pay off some debt back to himself and lower the price, stripping the squad back.

A blank canvas is a blank canvas and fortunately football clubs are in high demand. Get the price down and we'll sell.

I was gonna write something like this but in a less articulate way. I'm not anyway near against Moyes as to what some are. Out of all recent manager he has getting the bummest of deals. Yes, he's been ****, but he's been swimming in it. Give him a chance with a team who has a reasonable chance of competing, give him around half a dozen to a dozen games, then make a decision.

The fact that ordinary folk who might not grasp the constraints which must have been known to DM before he took the job will only judge a team on its football on the pitch, his dour persona will always dictate his approach, its hard if not impossible seeing him produce a team playing anything other than defensive, his short time here has seen some awfull decisions regarding making changes to win a game ,no better than oneil for negativity, customers want to see attacking football for their money.
He had a half decent team at utd to work with compared to ours ,he managed to produce some of the most boring football from a utd side in living memory,..TEL warned us.

Sorry to say this Disco but I would like to see the exact opposite.<ok>

Yeah then we can sack the next clown and then the next one and so on and so forth.

I'd rather be a bit ****ty and in the championship than an utter laughing stock in the premier league.

One year in the championship with Moyes would have more good days than we've had in the last decade of chopping and changing in the premier league.
