Just been on news -- priest from Chester-le St robbed £50k and gets 18month suspended. In other words scot free. Earlier this week, teacher took £35k from school and got 180hrs community service - spared prison because she has two kids. Again scot free. So, all you lasses, as long as you've got kids it's ok to steal as much as you like cos you won't go to prison.
They still have/have had the benefits of the money, if the courts aren't going to get it back, at least tell the tax man to have a go ! If the rest of us earn a £35 backhander and the taxman finds out...........

Just read up on that as it was my old church before I saw the light. Wonder if the family that benefited from his largess while have to pay anything back or even get charged but I suppose their get out of jail card was he spent his inheritance on them.

He said he was 'overcome' by the smell and asked her to put them down politely, but she refused and stared at him as she put them up again.

Paramedics, nurses and Drs saved me six months ago. I treated that bunch like they were the second coming, bacause in my eyes they were. We bought gift certificates for the nurses to get massages and nails done, my wife brought them food and treats every day. I had all the time in the world for them, ffs I had the whole lot hanging out in my room every day ( nobody else could speak in my ward, so, it may not have been my personality).
Anyways, when you almost die and a team of decent people do everything in their power to save you, only the worst kind of rat ****er would wouldn't kiss their feet.

It's a bit of a minefield, the things that different cultures find offensive.
Supposedly in Greece if you show someone the palm of your hand like you would to say hi they take it as "I intend to rub **** in your face" and while nodding your head forward is fine if you do a backwards nod in greeting I've heard that means "come on then knobhead I'm gonna **** you up".
Totally innocent greetings in one country, acts of war in another. I don't think the Greeks are all that touchy about it though.
