First win since '57 (corrected). Bit of fight after the substitutions,
Diificult Ro see Brighton not going up now, particularly with their run in

Poor lge imo if their one of the best! Least we won't give teams a big head start nxt season I hope anyway!!

Yes. But Brighton have been building to this for 4 years... it's no accident. They haven't spunked huge wads of cash on has-beens. Things have been done with restraint and with a bit more thought. That's the difference.

Yep. Good manager, that Hughton, too.

Mmm....................We looked a different team when Freeman came on and we went 4-3-3. More wholesale changes and a third defeat in a row. Anyone see a connection?
I like Luongo and Freeman for their endeavour, but I'm not convinced that they have any real quality on the ball. Cilla's first touch is like a pass and Smith, whilst good in the air, is a complete and utter donkey, as is Lynch, who just hoicks the ball back to the opposition time after time.
I like Robinson and I hope he stays fit.
Morrison looked overweight and did very little, although his first touch and passing looked a class above most of his team mates.
Perch is awful and Ned made another mistake that led to a goal. Washington looks like he's lost all confidence again and Yeni doesn't really look up to it.
Hall is a decent enough player.
Without a lot of summer transfer activity I fear we will be in much the same position come next April.

I too am a fully paid up member of the Robinson fan club, like you I hope he stays fit.

yeah, a draw aside from a free-kick no one was going to stop. A few chances at the end if we could shoot properly, freeman looked very good when he came on. Brighton had it all to play for, are a very good side and we did OK. I wouldn't be replacing freeman with ravel any time soon though.
