I'm an eternal optimist - always have optimistic thoughts but this season has done me in!

BUT - I think we'll play well on Sunday - this is a pessimistic thing though as it's typical of SAFC to come up against a team we don't expect much from and play like we should have in the previous 3 games!!

:emoticon-0148-yes: Thats an experienced fans view - full house and massive expectations - fail badly
Low crowd (morale) no expectation - win
Its the Sunderland rollercoaster -rarely fails in my experience

We dominate possession, fail to break you down, draw.

Put your house on it.

Defoe vs Ibra at last eh mate, I'd go along with your prediction although with a late (probably very late) winner for you lot.

Part Two, Ibra won the first round back in the good old days when we used to win games.
My lad is looking forward to watching him play on Sunday! He hasn;t looked forward to a home game for months - and now he does because of who we're playing!!! He's learning the joys of SAFC very quickly

I'd like to get to the game to see Ibra and to a lesser extent see how Pogba looks when you see him live as tv doesn't show the full story. Can't get to it though unfortunately.

You're not missing much with Pogba, kid's head has gone. The talent is unquestionable but the lad needs the season to end asap. Jose's played him in about 15 positions and he needs to start next season with 1 position and stick to it.

Ibra's a tank, a joy to watch on every occasion.

Aye definitely - always enjoyed watching him on TV as well - just don't stamp on him!!!

It would be typical Sunderland to win just to prolong the agony. As Ive stated earlier I hope Tels team wins (breaks my heart to say that cos I luv SAFC) but I want it over n done now and get planning for the chumpionship cos thats where were going.

Ah Gil man! Don't say that! We're down anyway, but you still got a hope for a result at Man U.

The backroom boys will have been planning for relegation for a couple of months now anyway.

It's gonna make my post-match nose-rubbing a bit hollow if you all want my team to win innit.

Get them all fired up Burly.

I don;t want your team to win at all - me and Burly geeing up the troops!!

I remember our 15 point season when we went to united, having just about the worst goal difference (at the time) the league had ever seen and a record low number of points, and kept a clean sheet to draw 0-0 and destroy any slim hope United had of winning the league that season!!

Similarities to this season perhaps, although top 4 rather than the title, a boring 0-0 once again, and you're heading to the Championship.

Funny how so many United fans are thinking we'll steamroll the Europa League, cos we're the strongest team left in it, we can't beat the likes of Bournemouth and Hull at home, we'll be lucky to get past Anderlecht at this rate.
