The Australians have told us they do: "Britain will have to relax immigration rules for Australians if it wants to secure a free trade deal"

The Indians have told us the same " The biggest challenge British negotiators are likely to face, however, is over immigration. India is pushing for greater liberalisation of the UK visa regime for its students and for intra-company transfers." https://www.ft.com/content/5fef7796-1914-11e7-a53d-df09f373be87

Its not that different for the US either, except they are also worried people like Chesh might try to go there: "Trade tariffs between the US and UK could be slashed and workers will be free to move more freely"

Oh dear.... Chesh wrong again.....

Really can't see the point in any more scaremongering, the horse has already bolted and shutting the barn door now won't bring it back

What's done is done, there was a referendum and people voted to leave fair and square

Let's just get on with it shall we?

If only Phil, if only.

Funnily enough that's how I feel about you.

I've not heard any arguments yet why I should change my mind.

If we get a great deal from the EU negotiation I may reluctantly agree its not going to be a complete disaster, but 1) that's a long time off and 2) its unlikely

We'll see but unlike you I keep personal feelings towards people out of it but simply respect their opinions. <doh>
