That's a shame because I think shaw is incredibly talented. I would take a punt on him at the right price.

I haven't seen anything from him personally to want him, even though never happen.
Apparently he constantly struggles with his weight and he's not the best trainer
I agree that he's a very talented lad, but I'm not sure he's got the desire, maybe another example of 'too much too soon'?

Looks massively unfit. Needs to go play a full season somewhere and get in proper shape again, needs to work hard over summer really or he could well struggle again next.
Back in the day managers and players kept the likes of the Shaw business behind closed doors, yep the game has changed dramatically since then but Maureen is worst than most at hanging his players out to dry to cover his own failings.

On the other hand, a public kick up the ass might be needed if he isn't putting in the effort. Got to hurt his pride a bit and make him want to prove manager wrong by working hard in training getting fit and making himself available
Should of stayed with us longer(how many times...), though it worked out okay for us with Bertrand.
Apparently he's very young mentally too, to the point he actually moved some of his mates up north with him...
Can't agree bisc tbf, that kick up the are in public from someone like Maureen is just public humiliation, the **** humiliated Shweinstieger by publicly isolating him and making him train with the kids or alone.
I just think its the Maureen way.
In fairness I think he was asked about his absence wasn't he?
If the lad isn't putting it in in training and that's the reason for him not being considered then maybe a public shooing is justified

What if he's spoken to him numerous times in public and nothing's changed? Maybe putting it out in public is only way that he'll learn. Don't know the full facts so hard to judge either way.

Sometimes a change is what's needed. The lad has been desperately unlucky. He got injured when he was regaining his best form and all this lack of training and playing must have affected his weight and his fitness.
It is sometimes a vicious circle and on a human level you have to feel for the lad. He needs to go another club and restart his career there. I think there are worst players out there but as someone already said it (we going for him) will never happen , will it?

Yeha hes been unlucky with injuries. Why a loan somewhere to mid table side would be best for him next year to get regular football for a year and get back to his best. No doubt he had the talent

He's still young but laziness and lack of professionalism would kill any chances with Klopp, who has Milner at LB because he is a perfect professional

I thought at one point under van gaal he had fotten the message but it seems to me he has let it get on top of him and he gives up.

Moyesie threatening to slap a woman journalist if she's not careful with her questioning in the future..heard many say it was a joke and she laughed lol..
Would he have made that "joke" to a male reporter?
And even if not misogynistic..it's like an empty bully threat made to people (journalists) who won't take him up on it...the equivalent of "hold me back lads)
