One of my all time favs has today announced he is due to retire at the end of the season.

A real professional with some cultural class. Let's avoid talking about how we let him leave, but concentrate on the fond memories he provided in his relatively short time. Guess Hartlepool at home will be up there? MK Dons away on his debut too - think most thought he was signed to be back up to Hayes. Took him one game to dislodge him.

Good luck Yann.

Top class player at his own level.

Remember when he came to the Valley last season with Reading, and gave his "replacement" Makienok a masterclass in centre forward play.

How difficult was it to sort out a Contract with not only a fans favourite, but a damn fine footballer who knew where the goal was?

How ****ing stupid was the decision not to ensure he stayed at the Club. The sillly bitch could have had a win, win and things would have been so different.

Meire's Ratner moment.
