    Really hope Carroll doesn't leave you guys as have been really impressed by him. However, if you get the 35 million SSN are quoting, then that is a lot of money. Hopefully Mike Ashley will use it wisely if it comes to that... Best of luck for the rest of the season.

    Why would Carroll want to go to Liverpool. He will get his car stolen, house burgled and all will be without all his mates he goes drinking with on the weekend. Plus they cant offer him European footbal. Crazy ****

    hahaha! i hope you're being ironic! with the toon he's been subject of a burnt out car, in several nightclub fraccas and had to live under house arrest! he'll have plenty of new "mates" with his money and we still can't offer european football!

    difference is money! i reckon liverpool would offer anywhere from 60k-80k per week as opposed to the 27k per week he's on now. fingers crossed he stays put like!

    Keep up with the news, there's been talk for over a week of us doubling his wages. As for the nightclubs, the difference is he can keep doing whatever the **** he wants in Newcastle and he'll still have his name sung by 50,000 every week.
    Pool fans always talk about wanting players "loyal to the shirt", but when a player doesn't want to play in red, you just throw more money at his greedy owner.

    Until it's confirmed by the club then I discount any of this speculation that abounds with modern technology and my faith in accurate reporting in this day and age is very very low.
