    Just seen him on SSN previewing their game with Villa...going on about Downing being a threat! <doh>

    Can't blame Martin for thinking Downing would still be at a mediocre side like Villa. I forget myself that Downing is at Liverpool, how the mighty fall

    It's what I've always said about Comolli, though.
    He'll sign you good players, but he'll pay through the nose and they won't necessarily be the ones that you need.

    I think it was Diego Capel from Sevilla, wasn't it Notso?
    To be fair to Comolli, the guy's just gone to Sporting for &#8364;3.5m, so it doesn't look like his career's done to well, either.
