Rafa came out with some tosh claiming our home woes were due to the opposition being harder to break down as they play more defensively. Erm, was he even at the Fulham game??
To be fair most managers don't admit their failings. Rafa is no different. They pick and choose their times to say its my fault. Normally its blatantly when its not their fault, but the fault of an individual. They try to deflect.
Its not he fact he uses teams being harder to break down as the excuse for me. Its that its almost like saying "well if teams play defensively/well, then we're ****ed because I haven't got a clue how to solve that problem"
Its kinda of his job really
What's worse is that his solution appears to be a 19 game bluff.Pre game - "I'll just keep doing the same thing because they are bound to think we are going to change it."
Post game - "Bastards, they didn't fall for it"
