I think the mancs might be very happy with 4 points out of these matches. If you look at the matches they have to play they look daunting but one thing about Mourinho is his ability to grind result even when he puts his second strings out. That is why I think it will be very close between Arsenal, the mancs and us. It is even possible that City might lose points and be dragged into the fight to top 4.

The mancs fighting for the Europa may mean that they decide to prioritise that competition over the league. Which would be a bonus for us.

Knowing our luck they will probably prioritize the Cups and still do well in the league. Unlike us who prioritised the league, got chucked out of the cups and still did **** in the league. <grr>

as would we all. The thing is if his side lack a bit of pace will they get the goals? ibrahimovic has got them the goals by being i nthe box. I think arsenal and city will cough him up a chance or three but not cheslea

Utd:

West Brom H, Everton beat this lot 3-0? at goodison. Will thry turn up at utd? I dunno.
Everton H, Everton have a history of trying to impress their senior club but again easy win
Sunderland A, ironed on 3 points.
Chelsea H, a point would be good.
Burnley A, burnely prob safe by this game.
Manchester City, A, must win for both?
Swansea A. utd have too much for swans
Arsenal A? anyhting coudl happen
Tottenham A, Spurs at end of season?
Crystal Palace H. dead rubber, easy 3.

I could see utd take 22 points at least here. Am i missing a game here?

that would put utd on 74 points.

Ergo min we can afford to target is 75. I prediced 73 for us. to take 19 points from 9 games i not impossible but its not easy. 6 wins and a draw.... the issue is i can see only 5 wins for us.

They can afford to play kids in the first leg v anderlecht handy and still go through. We must assume they will do well in league.

Southampton (missed): Possible three points but likely one.

So I would say 23 points. And we should look out for 20 points from 9 games. 6 wins and 2 draws. Not a huge task if we work out how to penetrate these tight defences which will inevitably be used by Big Sam and Pullis. Puel has already had the better of Klopp and may feel confident too.

yeah i was wondering... that one if at the toliet is a handy 3 points.

IMO we will lose to west brom. I cannot see us beating that lot if they get a couple of corners they get 2 goals. so thats 6 wins and 2 draws out of 8... imo a very big ask... for us in our state.

Lets start with everton and hopefully westbrom will do over the mancs and ease my worries.

We have to do Everton. If we drop points the psychological blow might be massive.

We could have an interesting scenario coming up. If the mancs are in the final of the Europa and 4th or 5th in the league equal on points with us.

Would you want them to win the final because inevitably the intensity of their chase of top 4 will decrease and give us more chance of a top 4? <yikes>

Both teams want to win on merit, not because of the fortunes of the other favouring them.
