City and Liverpool have given us really tough games this season but they were both awful today, particularly in the second half. It was end to end but incredibly frustrating watching chance after chance get wasted.
Although I'd have rathered a City win to put Liverpool further back in our rearview, I'll take that. 3 points above 4th with a game in hand and 7 above 5th with a game extra played. Can't complain about how things have gone for us so far.

P.s ive noticed how you have started doing the Gooner match theads...whats that now? you have made match threads for 4 of their last 5 PL games? worst thing is they think you are a nice bloke

If they've identified a lack of viable alternative, what other choice do they have? The time to move for a new manager was last summer when a lot of top names shuffled around. Should've brought in a top name and given him the £70m war chest that Wenger ended up blowing on Xhaka and Mustafi.
If Simone and Allegri stay put, most Arsenal fans can't think of another option who isnt a massive risk.
He'd make a good president for many an African country, most of them stay longer than entitled or even wanted. There will be elections in the DRC in 2019 (due December 20th 2016, so slightly late), they speak French, the politicians never see the police and the Army shooting demonstrators etc., he might be a perfect fit.

Who is going to choose his replacement? Who is going to recruit the players and manage the new manager's performance? Most continental clubs run on the basis of having a head coach not a manager. I doubt Allegri or Tuchel have any direct experience of recruiting players having been used to a Sporting Director do it for them. There's no appropriately skilled person at Arsenal. I cannot see them appointing 2 new persons in a matter of a month or so and getting it right.
United had this when Fergie left. they appointed Moyes and Ed Woodward. It didn't go well. They're still trying to put it right. This isn't just bringing in someone to coach the first team unless someone can convince Wenger to 'go upstairs'. That's not going to be easy when he's said he is going to be a manager next season.
I'm sure that there are numerous other functions that Wenger covers or that just don't exist under his regime. It's going to take time to do succession planning to try and avoid the United 'post-Fergie **** up' scenario and United had just won the title, were in the CL, all the players were happy to stay and had unlimited funds.
He's staying as far as I'm concerned.
