... other than the fact that trains don't work by running on rails ... they tend to work by electricity or steam ... plus they don't always stop at stations ... hence the announcement "please stand back from the edge of the platform, the next train does not stop at this station" ... I do get the point you are trying to make mind ... that your knowledge of football is also full of holes? <laugh>
The worst put down in Not606 history <applause>. They do run on rails and they do stop at stations. Perhaps you shouldn't work so hard at trying to be a smartarse?

He didn't say they were powered by the rail, he said they work by running on rails. And they do. You are so determined to look superior to everyone, you don't even read what you write. They do work by running on rails <doh>

<laugh>...I'm not determined to look superior ...I am superior but this is balanced by a mixture of charm and striking good looks ... oh ...and modesty.<ok>

Now I see this is causing you to get a little hot and bothered, and that you are obviously not of an engineering background, so I'll be gentle. Yes HIAG said they 'work' but they don't without power do they? <doh> ... are you still with me? Now I'll cut you some slack ... let's say that HIAG's train is on tracks on an incline and the breaks are off OK? ... I concede there would be some momemntum in the downward direction... but unless the power goes on there is no way back ... despite all the fellow Spurs sympathetic hugs and support that train won't 'work' <rofl>...

...fcuk me ... bad enough having to correct Thomas The Tank Engine .... didn't expect The Fat Controller to turn up too <laugh>
