first chance to post since the game finished so some (drunken grrrrrr) thoughts.

1.Can excellent today , had me worried early on with tugging ManC players but from then on just got better & better until running out of steam in last 5-10 mins.

2. Coutinho looks half fit if that and if we had someone else they would be playing.

3. Firm showed why he plays as he does what Klopp wants by sheer effort.

4. Defence fragile but better than normal & i thought Clyne ,despite his poor start, had his best game for some time - note Sane ended up being substituted.

5. How in the name of god did Lala miss :headbang:

6. The ref was a crap .

Couldn't sit still watching this game. Great game to watch and a draw is probably a fair result....although it should then have been 4-4.

Couldn't believe Lallana's miss.....Couthino is nowhere near his best and Can is starting to get into his groove.....

Oh....and Sterling still doesn't have an end product.

Agreed that the referee had an absolute nightmare. Got Major decisions wrong. What is it about our referees that they just shrink from making the big decisions? Today the match was made more exciting by the referee but we need our officials to have a modicum of competence.

Yep, 9 goals and 8 assists is piss poor.

Liverpool usually do not win when that ref
Is incharge.

And Oliver too, and a Fernandinho that had a free pass to foul at will.
Behave ffs. If Oliver does his job right and doesn't bottle the obvious foul on Sterling in the first half, because Fernandinho misses the follow up sitter, he awards a penalty and sends Milner off for denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity.

I've never seen a pro in the prem lose stamina as quickly as Yaya did today, he was absolutely done all of a sudden.

Talking about wanting to stay at City the other day... Don't think so fella.

Strange game today, very entertaining but some poor finishing on display. Oliver was terrible and got decisions wrong for both teams over and over

If he'd done his job then he'd also have sent off Toure for his studs up challenge on Toure, also would have booked Fernandinho for all the challenges he'd been making too.

1-1 was a fair result in the end but the ref had a poor game, for both teams not just for us.

if that was an obvious fouls so was the Otamendi one on Mane prior to that

Sent off Toure for a challenge on himself?

Kopite logic lol
