Burnley got a big kick in the teeth last week after being beaten by Lincoln in the FA Cup. You have got a great opportunity for a cup and then you get beaten by a non-league team, which is very embarrassing if you're a Premier League side.

Hull need to win but these are the games that worry me for them. Against the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United you haven't got a lot to lose, but here the fans will tell you that they will expect them to win. Burnley are getting better away from home, so I'll go for a draw.

MERSON PREDICTS: 1-1

If his predictions had all come to fruition we'd have about 2 points this season.

The **** him.

.....and Hendrick still suspended. So very weak midfield like against Lincoln (Arfield, Barton, Westwood, Boyd). I think we'll have a better chance of a point or so at Swansea next week when Hendrick and, probably, Defour will be available. Up until January, Marney had been our best midfielder but he is out for the season.

"Burnley are getting better away from home"

Away form this season:

P11 W0 D1 L10 (the one point they got was back in October)

Nailed on defeat for City then.

Can you believe I was just watching a bit of Gillette soccer Saturday for setting off for the game, and Merson, whilst speaking about who might go for the Lesta job, said a good shout would be Marco Silva from Hull City, what a ****ing hypocrite this guy is, the **** him.

I never saw the program, but it's typical of him.

I did watch Le Tissier on Soccer AM and he was his usual top notch self; one of those I really respect.

I also watched Football Focus and it was a great programme. Jenas and Lawrenson both gave great contribution about Leicester and City, Dan superb keeping it light and entertaining. Also a very good piece on Fat Sam. Worth catching up with.

Enjoy your day, I fancy a win. <cheers>

Le Tissier is probably my favourite non City player. Had the good fortune of picking a random PL game in the North West many years ago at Ewood Park. Sutton and Shearer v Le Tissier - Superb match even as neutral.

Was that the one where he did this?

I had a similar experience, I was invited by our business bankers at the time to Newcastle V Southampton at St James park, and LeTissier was playing, and he was a delight to watch. They beat Newcastle which was an added joy.
