With you there Oddy, maybe another run for Melon might have got him there, but to be fair to the winner he was tanking come the bottom of the hill...!!

Mate don't even attempt to add logic as to why he was won. He was unconsidered as a betting option due to his appalling behaviour at the start and it's a turn up. End of story.

Don't worry, I've taken it enough times <laugh>

I think 99% of punters have too. Hoping we may see more value now going forward but I doubt it, pesky bookies.

Bookies are having a laugh here surely. Altior into 2/9 from 2/7 yet every single horse behind him has also been slashed. Shambles

Friend text me this morning he'd backed Bunk off Early as his main fancy asked me for an outsider I said Labaik but it usually refuses to race. If it sets off it should go very close. He asked if I was backing it I said 'no mate it'll not set off and then will probably be banned after today for refusing to race'. The smug git has just sent me this

Hardly sets him up for life but still what a twat

Charbel w/o will do for me here. Quite like him and thought he was crying out for a little bit further when he first raced Altior. This hill should play to his strengths.

I thought Altior jumped better than I've seen him before, a lot closer to the fences that usual, as he usually flies them by miles... But I also think Nico gave him a safe ride round than really push him... Good win all the same for connections but it didn't improve my bank account...!!!

Altior's a bit of a dazzler, I thought. He was very "thoughtful" over some of the fences? Clever. Glad to see Charbel and David Bass are OK. I don't think he'd have won, but we'll never know.
