Without Wenger it's unknown territory. Will they finish higher than 4th? Will they crash and burn and turn into the next United. :bandit;
No, I'm a dude. I'm not gay. I certainly wouldn't bang Wayne Bridge if I were. I'd prefer someone with more sensitive eyes and a moustache.
Not only does Wenger believe beating Lincoln 5-0 makes up for losing 5-1 twice to Bayern, he also thinks it gives him the platform to hit back at the criticism received recently AND he thinks they had an "outstanding game" against Bayern blaming the referee for the result WTF sort of medication is on in his old age?
The club is angling to keep him, but it is clear that the majority of fans want him gone asap. Wenger and the club will try to use every win, from now on, as justification for a new contract, but the problem is that the fans have had to suffer a decade of (at best) indifferent form in the CL, such that they no longer care a rat's arse what he does in the league. Is that justified? Should a club like Arsenal have an expectation that it should have won the CL at least once over the last decade, or are Gooners delusional? I know what I think.
He should just announce now that he's leaving at the end of the season. It will stop the toxic atmosphere and the fans will get behind the team for the rest of the saeaon.
Much will depend, I suppose, on whether or not he has lost any part of the dressing room, and which part. It seems that Sanchez, at the very least, isn't happy working with Wenger, and you get the feeling that Ozil isn't being used to his best advantage. One has to wonder how many of Arsenal's superstars of the recent past left The Library because of their inability to work with Wenger? It would have been part of any settlement that the player wouldn't tittle-tattle. If Wenger can win the players round, I cannot see him leaving, even if the disgruntled fans protest throughout the start of the whole of next season. I also strongly believe that much will come down to whether or not Arsenal finish below Spurs. Certain posters on this board will have us all believe that it won't matter in the slightest, but that is at odds with what the vast majority of Gooners are saying in the real world.
The fans at these protests mostly seem around my age (27). They think Arsenal have always been a team regularly winning leagues. Have a bit of class.
Ozil was ****ing 'awesome' yesterday! Against non league Lincoln. Says everything you need to know about Wenger's current Arsenal.
Don't agree at all. No entitlement involved. DT is actually one of the fans I respect the most. With man United there is a tangible and reasonable excuse for them having gone backwards. At Arsenal there is not. The reason is because the manager is ****e and the board are willing to accept mediocrity in order to save a few bucks. Sacking Wenger will only eliminate half their problem.....but he is almost certainly half the problem. Name another top 4 club in any of the other European leagues who regularly get their arses handed to them when facing another top team? I am talking 3, 4, 5 and 6 Nil batterings, almost every time.
