So tell me, when did Man Utd submit a bid for Mertens? And was this bid accepted by Napoli?

Mertens is contracted to Napoli until June 2018, meaning that the earliest he can meet with representatives of another club to discuss a potential move without requiring Napoli's consent is January 2018. As today's date is March 10th 2017, Man Utd representatives would require Napoli's consent to meet with Mertens - but as a bid has not been made, there is no consent.

So as much as I hate to be ghoulish, your response makes you look foolish
As you failed to provide a scrap of proof, that your club has not been uncouth
As even the blind Mr Mole, knows this is how Chelsea acted when they approached Ashley Cole
And when they were caught they paid a lot of money, and I'm sure their owner did not find it funny
He was so angry he spat a lot of phlegm, when he found the rules apply to them
So maybe it's time for you to grow up, as your silly posts make people throw up
As they are riddled with such banality, making us think you have an abnormality
So perhaps you should ask Jeremy Hunt, if he can treat you for being such a...

Plenty of room on the stamp.
Have you considered the possibility that, because he is refusing to sign a contract they may have told him if he finds a club who will meet the asking price he can go?
That would be consent :emoticon-0100-smile

So when did Man Utd meet the asking price?

Really, Diego, please try to be critical,
After all, you may find it's not so difficult;
To see your club once again flout the rules,
Which gives us all a chance to muse;
About the last time your club had a laugh,
That time at the expense of Le Havre;
We remember how your club's knuckles were rapped,
When they urged Paul Pogba to break his contract;
And at the same time your club was such a schemer,
They also tapped up Michele Fornasier from Fiorentina;
So don't come on here pretending your club is whiter than white,
As anyone with a brain knows you're talking...

Norwich have sacked Alex Neil. Can't say I'm surprised.
I'm sure he'll have no trouble getting another job, but it's too much, too soon, in my opinion.
They've got a good team and a very promising academy, so they should be getting better results.

Brighton 2-0 up against Derby at HT. Very easy first half for Hughton's team.
It was when they played Newcastle though and they lost that one late on.

Juventus last second penalty winner.OOOOHHHH! Barcelona strikes again. Can we have a dodgy ref for our games...

2002 - bad year in football with Arsenal clinching the Double effectively at Old Trafford. Bad year for The Queen too as her sister and mother both died. There was an earthquake in Dudley too!

Relying on Lincoln for any possibility of an easy semi. Of course City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Man Utd are relying on Millwall for the same.

Ryan Sessegnon's just scored his 2nd of the day to put Fulham 3-0 up at St James' Park.
Quite a shock result, as it stands and the kid's doing his reputation no harm at all.
Should've moved for him in January, I think.
