I think the shirt they used was old Razor Ruddock surplus stock. Two Ginolas would fit into that!

One of my brothers had a punch up with Razor Ruddock on a Spurs pre-season tour of Sweden. I'm told it was pretty even when others jumped in. No doubt he'll be out and about this weekend, No good, fat, Millwall ****.

Razor once bought me a couple of pints, he used to drink in a pub that I frequented occasionally, and I was out in a group with someone who went to school with him, he sat chatted with us for a quite a while, mainly about a football surprisingly enough, and I thought he was alright!

I'm still trying to get my head around the Barca PSG result. Ridiculous.Have we been misled into believing that PSG and French football is one of the top club's and leagues in the world?
I mean...PSG ain't Arsenal...and they were 4-0 up!
Kind of like the French army at the start of WW2.Total capitulation!

My next door neighbour went to school with him. He told me everyone called him W*anker Ruddock, nor Razor at school.

Didn't the refs have some input too? A couple of pens for Barca, not giving a pen for Arse? Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that Arse got stuffed but I want the right result, the one based on merits of the teams on the pitch and not decided by refs. The trouble with the tribal nature of football is that we don't care when our rivals get decisions against them but would be unhappy if we got the same - at which point we get no sympathy from them. So it's kind of divide and rule - we only care when we get the problem when in fact it affects us all.

1998 - what a horrendous year. The scum won the league and we were staring relegation in the face until a crazy afternoon in Wimbledon.

Dark, dark days they were. I got hung, drawn and quartered every single day on the playground.

Last night was unbelievable, probably the best come back I've ever seen. 4-0 down in the first leg, then needing six due to the away goal... Crazy.

The fight happened during Ruddock's first spell with us. David Pleat was manager and there was a kick around involving fans and players not involved in the particular friendly. Ruddock was 'giving it the big I am' and then started going over the top in challenges. Completely unnecessary and my brother told him so. Next thing Ruddocks got his face in my brother's and pushing him. My brother's not someone to take that and pushed him back. Ruddock hit him so my brother [who is small for a member of my family standing about 5' 10"] got going and is a scrappy ****er. They had to be pulled apart by others playing in the 'match'. Pleat went mad at Ruddock and rightly so because he was spoiling for it.

At the end of his career he turned up at Palace. He was so unfit it was a joke. I've never seen a fatter, slower 'professional'. It's true that the kit manufacturer couldn't supply a shirt or pair of shorts big enough and Palace had to have them custom made to get his backside in them. He didn't give a **** and was being paid very well to put in zero effort. I've no time for the bloke.

Rostov's pitch is crap - like a potato field.

I did think Rostov was a potato dish

The most worthwhile element of being in the EL is the determination it breeds not to finish outside the CL places again or to come 8th like the Mousers. The crap money, terrible journeys, pitches and officials and playing unending Sunday games knowing that Seville will win it....okay maybe not the last one this year.
