I'm not upset anymore....I can see that he would want to get one last good deal at his age. It's a shame it unravelled as it did. He has got over the worst with an appearance at St Marys....and that didn't go too badly for him, did it? You can't have it all ways...you can be a hero to a club or you can be pragmatic and move on. A few have managed both, but that was usually because we could see the money was to our benefit. The thing about being greatly loved is that the fall is greater. Fact of life.

Having looked at Rule 15 of the Laws of the Game, it clearly says that players wearing red and white stripes are not allowed on the field of play unless they are registered with Southampton Football Club.
This is going to sound awful but, sometimes I wish Saints didn't play in red and white stripes. Here's the skewed logic: 1] nobody wins anything in red and white stripes 2] we inevitably get ourselves associated with Stoke and Sunderland. Mediocre clubs. When we were in the lower leagues it was Exeter and Lincoln [tbh, I didn't mind that so much]. 3] every manufacturer makes such ****ty looking kits for us. There I've said it.

Well I must admit I only saw highlights, so fair enough if you're talking about provocation. Mings is an ex-Saint Academy too, isn't he.? Dear oh dear, you might have expected better.
Zlatan will probably get off scot free and Mings will get extra punishment for deliberately heading Zlatan's elbow.
They both should gets three's. Anything more would be harsh. Had the ref done his job properly, rather than leisurely chatting to Utd players about who he should send off, well we wouldn't be debating this and could go back to the throw in talk!
Bmouth's next three games includes our home game against them. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing though. I don't particularly rate Mings as a PL defender.
