That's not much better. Just shows how low Nev has sunk when he is being compared with Fredor. Fredor would have started the premier Division Prediction League back in 1896 and still have it up to date today. It would of course involve prediction of the foul count by both sides.

Pair of ****s. Still think it was a mistake getting rid of Simpson though. The fans were absolute ****s to him. He did a really solid job for us.

Good solid, consistent defender Made loads of vital goal line clearances too.

Maybe a bit of a twat on social media but definitely worth holding on to.

We went for the more attacking style, international full-backs instead - and got relegated.

Simpson comes across as rather Joey Barton-esque there in terms in Twitter twattery, at the end of the day he just wore a training top to participate in training, hardly on the level of Lee Clark's SMB t-shirt.

Even attacking he gets a harder time from us than he deserves. I'm not saying he is great by any means, but he can put in some great crosses at times. The idea that he never plays a good ball is bollocks. A lot depends on who he is playing with down that left side.
