A mate told me last night that he's got me a ticket for a 1967 Memories function next Tuesday. I don't recall having seen anything about this. Anyone on here going?
 
Wow, how I'd like to be there! I was at Wembley for the League Cup Final against WBA in 1967. Really lucked out as I was at the end where all five goals were scored. Was directly in line (at the far corner) with Rodney Marsh's snooker-type in-off-the-post goal which made it 2-2. Swear to this day he meant it! Cool cat was Marsh. However, on a more sombre note, the winning goal would not have been allowed nowadays; Hunt definitely fouled the WBA goalkeeper just before Mark Lazarus stuck it into the net. Play stopped for about 5-minutes while the goalie recovered; he was flat-out on the ground.

I was there too, saw very little because we were standing and I am still only 5 foot1....then at age of 13 even smaller.

Looks like there's going to be a special commemorative kit for the game against Cardiff on 4th March, 50 years to the day........

I was there as well but as I was only 6 at the time I don't really recall too much about the day.......
 
I was lucky enough to get into Wembley games for nothing at the time through my grandfather, who was a security officer. He would get us into a little area above the players' tunnel on a kind of balcony. A perfect view for all of the goals.

Team will be in an all-white kit for the Cardiff game, 50 years to the day that we won the League Cup. 500 limited edition replica shirts on sale in the superstore on Saturday...

Lovely kit - wish they'd make more than 500....I'm sure some of those of us unable to get to HQ would love to get one from the online shop

Looks good, might have to get in the queue 1st thing Saturday. As long as it is not a figure hugging shirt, otherwise I will look like a pregnant duck. It looks like the season 66-67 has set the price.
