Big goal that between Palace and Boro. Games down the bottom don't get much bigger than that one. If Palace hold on in that one - and Boro can't score - then I wouldn't be in the slightest bit surprised if it was the start of the two clubs going in very different directions from here on in.

Oh man, I thought that too, except that it would be Boro who pick up the points in the next few weeks. Prepared to admit you might be right.

Alternatively they could carry on being crap.

I said a couple of weeks ago I fancy Boro to finish bottom. This could go a long way towards that.

You've got to be able to score goals, to stay up. You can't do it on clean sheets alone. All it takes is a few 1-0 defeats, as they at doing at the moment, and the confidence and spirit amongst the players and fans will disappear, along with those clean sheets. And then 1-0 defeats become 3-0 defeats, and it all just spirals out of control.

It's not just a case of Boro only staying up if other sides are too poor to finish above them. It's a case of them only finishing above 20th if other sides are too poor to finish above them. Fortunately for them, there are a fair few poor sides. But are they poor enough? (Well I don't think at least three of them are)

One Hull goal away, as scores stand, from another really bad weekend for Bmouth.

If Leicester can sack Ranieri...

I posted a table earlier this month on what the league would look if form over the previous five games was exactly maintained throughout the remainder of the season. Using that same rationale, today the bottom six now looks like:

Palace 36
Hull 33
Bmouth 31
Sunderland 29
Boro 27
Leicester 21

Bmouth are walking right into this relegation battle.

Didn't want to sully the match thread with this.....Spurs fans moaning that they missed out on Manolo and saying why can't their scouting team be like ours. Funny....as they hired the Saints man they thought could do that for them. One says that Gabby won't be here next season....how I laughed...not even Les would....would he?:emoticon-0107-sweat

Gabbiadini will be here next season. Even we wouldn't sell someone after 6months!

The question is, will he play alongside chazza? Or will chazza drop to the bench? Now that's a selection headache!

I am absolutely certain that he will be here next season too. Imagine if his hot spell continues....5 goals in 3 games for us....we will rule the world.<laugh>

6 perfectly good goals, one of which was incorrectly disallowed by a cretinous linesman in the pay of Manchester United.

(It's OK Tom, I know he wasn't actually being bribed)

(Probably)
