QPR will be looking to make it three wins in a week when they head north to face Preston North End in Saturday’s 3pm Championship kick off.

The two wins that the R’s registered against Birmingham and Wigan have somewhat released the pressure off Holloway’s side who now find themselves positioned in 15th and can potentially climb a few places with a win at Deepdale.

After a very slow start to the campaign the Lilywhites have gone on to have a so far a more than satisfactory season.

Grayson’s side lost six of their first eight fixtures and were tipped by many to be fighting to survive. However, since then they have lost just four games with three of the defeats being against sides currently in the play-offs.

The Lancashire team won’t yet rule themselves out of finishing in the top six albeit they’ll know they will have to turn a current nine point swing around with just 13 games left.

Rangers head into the game looking for some revenge over their opponents. Preston inflicted the Hoops to their first home defeat of the season back in August when they came to Loftus Road and fully deserved their 2-0 victory. But it’s not going to be an easy with Preston losing just one of their last ten league games at Deepdale.

QPR have so far shown they are not fazed about facing teams with good home records this season with wins against Fulham, Cardiff and Reading plus a well earned draw with League leaders Newcastle.

Holloway now finds himself in the situation where recent performances may have left him with a slight selection headache. With both the starting eleven and substitutions contributing in recent matches, competition for places are rife. But with Preston in such good form Ollie will need all his players to step up to get something from this tough looking away fixture.

I predict that I giant bat will fall from the sky in this game and destroy the pitch, luckily only at half time and only killing the announcer and groundsmen. Loftus Road will have to be closed for the rest of the season and we'll be forced to join the Rugby Union league for the remained of the season.

Nines, A very timely and great preview as always. :)

I agree with your team selection and we will see how they perform with a third games in 8 days.

Although It would be great, I do not expect a win and would be pleased with a draw. I am going for 1-1 and Smith. COYR's!!!!!

We are playing away so the Loftus Road groundsmen and commentator will also be spared! :)

Good stuff Nines (the young lady's a stunner).

Have to say Deepdale looks a nice ground now.....we could do with something similar........

The tee shirt looks good as well......is that one of the Fraulines you were photographing last week 999's?

Oh dear, might get chucked-out by you Mr. Moderator, but since we are all QPR fans we must be correct, but it's Fräulein (rough pronunciation Froy-line). We can't have the others taking the mickey out of us!

Hang on, maybe you're just checking to see if we're all awake? If so, apologies! :emoticon-0100-smile

Seriously, tough one at Preston tomorrow, but the guys can do it. They are much improved the last week or two.

Do we know who she is?

Her name is EMM. She's an American singer/songwriter who has offered to come over and sing at the Stan Bowles benefit match.
