The owners are **** scared of relegation. From what I've seen of Leicester they're not playing for Ranieri so as harsh as it is the owners haven't got an awful lot of choice. Ranieri is a good manager when things are going well but really struggles to turn things around when things are going badly. Last season's title win does make the sacking look ridiculous but at the same time this season's form alone justifies the sacking 100%.

He's earned about nine lives as a result of last season, this season is more of a true reflection of the squad he has got to work with.
The simple fact is the Premier League is ruthless. The cost of relegation means owners are not going to give 2 lives let alone 9.

I very much doubt that they would be getting an itchy trigger had last season not been such an amazing overachievement, Ranieri is a victim of his own success.

Edit I think that Leicester were one of the bookie's favourites for relegation when he took the job.

Maybe Leicester should have signed a decent defender, or is that the old fashioned way. It's strange that no one else was interested in Caceres, considering they need him about 10x more than us.

So even winning the PL and reaching the last 16 of the Champions League isn't good enough for Leicester. If it wasn't for him they probably would have gone down last year. The players need to take a good look at themselves. Poor decision, I think he deserves better.
