Very balanced, FLT. Proud of you, mate. The highlighted point does it for me, I really am that shallow. As for the rain, why do you think we bought a house in France years ago?!

I visit Cornwall quite often as we have long standing friends there. I love it out of season!

Out of season is my favourite time in Cornwall too. Rock pooling in the rain!

No such thing as out of season In Cornwall! We usually go to St Ives in November and nearly all the restaurants etc are always open. I know what you mean though, I'd never wsnt to go in August! <yikes>

I had a week there once during the third week of September. Like being in the Med. October I used to enjoy there.

These days I have a few relatives living in Cornwall, which helps when popping west. But [like almost everybody else] my love of the place stemmed from the great childhood holidays we had. Even in high season it wasn't that crowded and I can never remember any bad weather days. Then we didn't go for many years before I went with friends in my twenties, and it was just as good. Cornwall doesn't really ever change, so if like me you loved it as a child, you're almost certainly going to love it as an adult. I can go at any time of the year and love it, but it really comes alive when it's sunny and warm.

Trivia: Incidentally, my hypochondriac eldest brother advised me not to go live there [back in 2001 I was this -> ][ far away from deciding to live in Cornwall] because of the Radon gas leakage. When I said, "well perhaps I'll choose a place well away from the granite", he said, "Ooh, I just wouldn't go there". He wouldn't even have a granite worktop in his kitchen either. Like that was going to kill him with the tiny amount of radioactive gas oozing from it. <doh>

Surely, you can't be serious...and don't call me Shirley :)
I can never get a question answered on this forum. For example, I'm still waiting to know why Charlie Austin plays with bandaged upper arms. No one will even say "I don't know". Now I'd like to know if anyone has been to those islands south-west :emoticon-0110-tongu of Cornwall.

I don't really know about Chaz, but was it not reported, after his recent injury, that he had weak shoulders, as in liable to dislocate?
Maybe the bandages were a precaution, to stop them popping out, that failed when he needed them to work?
Only guessing.

Well I appreciate the guess, at least St. B. You could be right.! I think he's always had a tendency to dislocate bones. I'm sure I've read that he's done it before at Swindon or QPR or somewhere else. He even popped a finger once. On the bandages, my own thought was that the shirt cuffs chafed his skin, but that seems weak to me because the shirt would surely be of good enough quality not to. I have looked at the other players. They don't have bandaged upper arms.

He did the original shoulder/collar bone injury against us when he collided with kelvin.
