Aye, I agree the Sun is a shower of ****e.
But it would be almost impossible for a club like Sutton to turn that kind of money down, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity for them, can't blame them for milking it for all it's worth.

i know man but the first reaction is just feeling sick whenever that logo pops up, bit inconvenient really ... go fill the car up, look around the forecourt, puke up on the forecourt. Go supermercado, go through the doors, look around puke up before I've even picked up a basket etc etc

Don't go shopping on a full stomach

Do places still stock the Sun in Liverpool? I heard a lot of newsagents and petrol stations still refuse to even stock it, to this day.

HAHA "Granit Xhaka, you ****" these small grounds are hilarious on TV, you can hear everything.

To be fair, can hear most things at most big clubs these days as well.. normally as quiet as anything.

I don't get people moaning about 4g pitches. They are so good these days, probably better than grass. Consistent bounce, no muddy patches or bobbles.

Arsenal would much prefer to be playing on this surface than some old school non league pitches where no grass and they can't pass the ball around with ease.

The problem is the bounce varies from pitch to pitch. Also if you'd watched Wales' game against Andorra in 2014 you wouldn't be praising these pitches, they can be ****ing ****e.

The bounce varies from pitch to pitch, but is that any different from grass pitches? If they are pristine some will bounce different depending on how hard they are how watered they are what month you're in etc.

Would yoo you rather be playing on a 4g pitch that is consistent for that pitch, or a pitch that's been frozen then soaked then torn up and has less grass on it than zings has hairs on his head?

Feel the need to point out that Suttons is a 3G pitch <ok>

awww come on , cut them some slack.
A little club like that get offered a sponsorship deal by a National newspaper, even if it is a rag like the Sun.
Probably the only reason the club are still able to function.
Not the players fault.
You are joking.

Small club or not, knowing the feeling in football in general, it's nothing short of inflammatory. Before the game I wished them well, once I saw that on their shirts so pleased they're out now.

Sutton's 23-stone goalkeeper Wayne Shaw may have broken FA betting rules by eating pie during Arsenal match

He definitely broke the rules.

He admitted knowing about the S*n's 8-1 odds on it.

Only way it's acceptable IMO is if he told everyone he was going to do it so massive bets could be placed to cost the S*n millions.

The S*n should also be prosecuted for encouraging betting fraud for allowing such a blatantly fixable bet, even though it's themselves would would suffer.
