Because the competition prioritises head-to-head records over GD. So overall across the two games, they scored once and we just did not score.

Possibly from me. It's that ol' lack of striking options issue again. Last season we had a hatful of options. So much potential from last season, and we have received our just deserts for gambling that every option from a smaller pool of quality would hit their best form.
 
1-1 in the big one in Bilbao tonight as Athletic take Apoel who are not to be underestimated. Vamos Athletic!! The only team in the EL that has its entire squad based on the region. Apoel have players from all over the globe.

Absolute joke of game this. If we get this sort of sh*te bias toward United in the final we may aswell give up now!

Never a free kick for the first one - not even slightly. Defintely not a penalty either. And St Etienne had a decent shout for a penalty turned down. Incredible how weak most ref's are these days.
 
Probably safe to say that Ibra, Pogba & Mkhitaryan won't be travelling to France next week...
