A tactic that works when large numbers of people feel betrayed and abandoned by the established order. Most specifically, when capitalism has one of it's periodic existential crises and begins to fail millions of people, as it did in the 1930's, and several times during the 18th century. For some reason it always seems easier to blame an easily demonised 'other' -Jews, Muslims , whatever - rather than the currency speculators, loan sharks and casino bankers who caused the crash and resultant loss of hope in the first place. We learn nothing, it seems, from history. Just as after Wall St, barely one banker gets held to account for nefarious and often illegal activity; immigrants and minorities get the blame instead.
Sadly this is so very true true........Mind you this time though...after the last crash, the yanks decided they needed some money to bolster their economy. So brought to so called justice many of the banks and took back billions of dollars. The ordinary man in the street got nowt!!

I'm actually pretty happy with how the Trump administration has gone so far. He's even more incompetent than I thought he would be, which is amazing. I hope he continues to **** the bed massively with every small thing he does so hopefully people will catch on before he starts doing big things.

That article is 4 months old and if you look at the last bit he is quite open about it. Says he paid £1.8m tax last year and like Trump said openly in the debates It is up to the politicians to change the law if they are not happy with how the law works. Quite right IMO. Politicians can;t keep moaning about rich people avoiding tax when they make laws (and leave them as they are) that enable them to do so. EDITED because I put 4 years instead of months. lol

Totally agree. I was just meaning that Trump and Banks are right. It is up to the politicians to stop it from happening. They keep complaining about it and saying "moral" this and that but not doing anything about it.
