Anyone else seen on the BBC that HUmberside are reporting bids for both these lads from Man U??

Any truth to them, anyone heard anything else? I'd certainly take both on permanants for the right fees, plus it frees up some loan space too

It might happen for Stewart, but Evans has supposedly still got a future at Utd so I doubt we could get him.

Hypothetically, how much would we paying for each, do you reckon, if Stewart's in the last year of contract? (considering we paid a mere £300k for chester)

If it turns out to be true I think freeing up loan space may be the reason it is happening now.

I agree with you this maybe the reason this is happening as the loan market is open for a while longer after today and we are perm signing two players who we know enough about to part with our valuable cash.

I heard the Evans loan was with a view to a permanant

Sounds good, Stewart is the more likely but i can see us getting both. You don't sign a kid off Man Utd without it involving a buy-back clause though so they're all possible

Would be great additions, with great potential. I wonder if with all the money now off the wage bill we've maybe re-adjusted the finances and could see these two made permenant aswell as the bid for the mystery midfielder?
