Beef Stew and Dumplings. 9/10.

Where’s Nassau?!? Has he seen the name of one of the the unraced 3YO colts that old boy Gosden has got entered ‘ooooooooooooooop’ at Newcastle on Friday?!? I say with a moniker like that I’m predicting greatness! Rather like Mrs Magnier, with the names Australia and Camelot, I’m sure Godolphin have sat on this one for years just waiting for that special horse to come along!

Wow!! Just wow. I say Chucks this is making me wonder if you and the sheik are one and the same!!

I forgot to tell you, I've moved across the county line quite recently, brave new world!

Yep, you did tell me a couple of months ago. Must admit I almost fell off my chair when I saw that name amongst the entries. I’m sure a statue in the ‘Market Square’ beckons if he’s any good.

Meanwhile, sorry to keep droning on about this, people, but I note that ‘Enders has got Volnay De Thaix entered in yet another ‘Pertemps Qualifier’ at the weekend (Winkers, Saturday). This will be the 3rd time in the past few weeks (Mother Nature intervened on one occasion and the other entry wasn’t taken up). Now 8 lbs below his peak rating over hurdles I’m sure in an ideal world he would gently be steered into 5th or 6th at Wincanton, dropped a few more pounds and then be primed to run for his life in the ‘Series Final’ at the Festival.

Let's just hope they don't call one after the town that is famous for its weatherspoons brawl!!
