Nice. He certainly played his part in getting us from non league to league 1. Although if he had more composure, we would have won the league 2 years ago but im sure going to Wembley was a good day out instead, winning it on penalties. We also would have got promoted sooner last season rather than the last kick of the game in the 93rd minute of the last day of the season!
Putting it down in these words, yes being champions of non league and winning promotion from league 2 with games to spare is all fine and dandy. But winning back to back promotions with the last kick of the game at Wembley (Mansell's pen) and Browns 93rd minute last kick of the game winner last season, is something special. So maybe I should be showing thanks to Taylor for not being as prolific as he should have been missing so many sitters.
