It's great to see Burnley doing so well. They were really good today. Dyche is a terrific manager and a decent, down to earth bloke.

He is that. Lives a couple of villages from me and drunks in a village pub. I still wouldn't want to piss him off though.

A few Leicester fans calling for Pearson until the end of the season <laugh>
Obviously don't believe that a man who got them the title may also be good at getting them back to the EPL (if they are relegated). Ranieri hasn't suddenly become a bad manager. They got early success last season and confidence carried them through....the opposite is true this season. Vardy (boo, hiss) isn't scoring so freely this season and they have reverted to their mean.

Question for you (excluding anyone with a financial interest in the club)...is the title worth relegation? No one can take the title away from your history, but you risk struggling to get back into the EPL.

Yes, without a shadow of a doubt, they'll be back at somepoint anyway and would have likely gone down anyway at some point too.

If I was offerred the league title in 17/18 but relegation the year after I'd snap your hand off <laugh>

Also they're talking bout Ranieri making way for Pearson NOW. Not the end of the season.

What is so hard for the Leicester fans to take is that this season is right after their title win....it taints it if they go down. More tolerable if it had been a couple of seasons later. I hope they stay up.

It would be the same for me with Saints....I couldn't take a title win followed immediately by relegation, so I'm going for the slow burn...then we take the title. Shame we weren't consistent last season....that could easily have been us. I bet if you asked people before last season....name an outsider that could take the title, many people would have said Saints.

Going to have to disagree, for clubs that aren't part of the money racquet, what we've seen Leicester do has never been seen before in the sky era (arguments are man city, chelsea, blackburn have won it from no where, however they all got giant cash injections where they could buy whoever they wanted). As far as i am concerned, it's a 1 off, so for anyone to offer you a league followed by relegation, it will probably be the 1 time in your life time to see that happen, no disrespect to teams who just don't have the financial means to get the best players.

Burnley should be absolutely fine. Like us, this can crawl to the finish line if they want. But it should be worth noting that because their matches with Liverpool were swapped around this season - due to Liverpool being unable to play at home at the start of the season - Burnley's remaining fixtures are very away-heavy. And right now they have just one away point.

Their next four PL games are all away. As are six of their next eight. The only three home games they have before May include Spurs and Man Utd (as well as Stoke). In total, eight of their remaining 13 games are away.

Like I say, they should be fine. Even if a few sides were to catch them, you can't see at least five of the current bottom seven catching them. Same with us. But it is something worth noting.

Next season will be our year <ok>

Though of course it will also be Liverpool's. And Spurs'.
