Doesn't matter if everyone's managing to keep themselves out of title contention.

Take the 2014-15 season as the perfect example: Liverpool pissed away the Suarez cash to expose Brendan Rodgers as the mediocre manager he actually was, Man Utd were hamstrung by Louis van Gaaling being Louis van Gaaling, Spurs were rebuilding yet hadn't shifted several members of the Baldini Splurge to get the team we wanted, Arsenal had long since settled into qualifying for the Champions league and nothing more, while City had a bloated squad and failed to address the weaknesses within it yet somehow contrived to add more weaknesses with the additions of Mangala and Fernando.

So before a ball had been kicked you had Arsenal claiming their participation award, Liverpool taking themselves out of the title race, Spurs taking a step back so they could take two steps forward the following season, and City mistakenly believing their squad would repeat their title win of the previous season in spite of the fact their squad damn near pissed away the title the previous season.

Similar can be said for last season: Arsenal were collecting their participation award, Chelsea imploded, City announced they'd be bringing in Guardiola and unsurprisingly their form under Pellegrini dropped almost overnight, Man Utd had realised van Gaaling wasn't the messiah but were stuck with him for another season, while Liverpool were reliant on Sturridge's goals so were undone by Sturridge being perpetually injured.

So in reality that should have opened the door for teams like Southampton and Everton, where did Leicester come from?

Everton were finally realising that Roberto Martinez was only going to take them backwards while Southampton had gaping holes where Schneiderlin and Clyne once were.

Where Leicester came from is just as easy to explain: they had a good start to the season, and referees were oblivious to the amount of bookable and red card offences they were getting away with, be it dives by Vardy and Mahrez at one end or blatant elbows by Huth, Morgan and Drinkwater at the other. Coincidentally, the one thing the Premier League clamped down on this season was Greco-Roman wrestling in the penalty area, and by complete coincidence Leicester have plummeted down the table as a result.

I think it's more a case of Vardy and Mahrez regret not leaving. The latter in particular was pathetic yesterday. Body language all wrong, barely broke a sweat and generally looked like he didn't want to be there. I said last season that Vardy was a one-hit -wonder and it is nice to finally be right about something <laugh>.

Not sure who's in more regret.

Leicester for missing out on circa £60m (£20m Vardy, £40m Mahrez) and now likely only fetching £23m if they chose to sell this summer (£3m Vardy, £20m Mahrez).

Or Mahrez and Vardy for choosing to stick around. We know Vardy had the chance to move to Woolwich, while Mahrez could've easily asked to leave and have 5-10 suitors chase his signature.

Yes, but looking at the sums they have spent and wasted anyway, cashing in would probably not have helped them much.

I'm still waiting for the hacks to line up and say how Vardy was a one-season wonder, just like they were for Kane last season

They are not relegated yet, and both are Leicesters' (most) attacking(est ... in the world)
hope of getting the points to survive come May. So the answer is no.

Don't think that they'll get relegated, but that's quite funny! <laugh>

  12. I think they will. Momentum is everything and they have it - trouble is that it's all downward momentum!! Swansea and Hull are both on the up. If Fat Sam gets Palace going then the Foxes are right up **** creek without the proverbial.....

It depends on their mindset. If their best players see themselves playing in a different shirt next season, then they're in trouble. If they fight for the club, they're plenty good enough to stay up.

Ranieri might well drop their "best" players, though. If Mahrez can't be arsed, then he can be benched.

Well, anyway, someone from Tottenham has won 3 'trophies". ADELE! ADELE! ADELE!

Wouldn't it be nice if our old Spurs could win one too....or even two! Wouldn't that be nice?

Their next 4 PL games are::

    Liverpool H
    Hull City H
    Arsenal A
    West Ham A

Plus they've got FA cup and UCL games. I don't see them winning more than 1 of those and possibly only getting draws against Hull and the Spammers. They are well in it and I'm reckoning they'll drop.

Just tuned in to Bmouth v City, only to see Sterling score as lucky a goal as you'll see and King have a perfectly legitimate goal disallowed.

I think I'll go back to watching ****ty films on illegal streams. RCL you can take over this shift.

The word "litigation" was present during that clip.
Is someone suing Leicester over claims that Vardy is a 2 season wonder ??
