Perhaps the strangest irony is the outrage from some about 'grassing' and bans combined with reasoning that accusations of child abuse are ok? ...

Here's a thought ... both should be unacceptable to real men ffs.

If your idea of 'bantz' is that if you start to lose a verbal exchange on a football forum it's fair game to start calling someone a nonce then you are just a sad cnut in my book ... plenty of good comebacks without resorting to that.

This has been an absolute **** house of a thread. People crying crocodile tears, whilst hitting the report button. Crying about grassing and then calling people child abusers, and to top it off for all the faux moral outrage about the 'unwritten rules' people then go and point the finger at GM for something he hasn't done.

Yes, on this board, I suggested that bans should be used to curb the pages and pages of bollocks that was being written by a very small number of idiot posters, claiming that I and Saintsfan08 are one-and-the-same poster, but that was out of sheer desperation for the fact that such bollocks was ruining this board. It was done openly and partly in jest. If you go back and look at my comments, any fool will see that all I really wanted was for the bollocks to stop. The request for temporary (not permanent) bans was mooted half in jest.

My "request for a ban" was done openly, on this board, in the full glare of my peers.

Please do not confuse this with Pixie's deplorable conduct in sneaking off behind all of our backs, and effectively lying to the super-mods, in order to get me banned and to silence me to prevent me exposing the full and true extent of his monstrous obsession with me. My tags to Bodinki (with Bod's full consent - a fact that Pixie withheld from the super-mod, when he petitioned him for my ban in order to silence me) had reached in excess of 300 within the 48 hours before my ban. Had I continued to tag Bod for the full extent of the week - as I openly stated to everyone that I would do - they would have reached in excess of 1,200, without any reply from me.

That was the reason why Pixie took the unhanded action of lying to the super-mod and demanding that I be banned. Thanks to you lads, Pixie has been named-and-shamed, and held to account for his ill-advised and treacherous actions, and the super-mod (who banned me on Pixie's lies) cut short my ban.
