Just had a look ... nobody requested a ban ... a supermod noted his accusation of child abuse on this thread - banned him from here for it and notified the Sunderland mods to warn him about his future conduct ... Perhaps the strangest irony is the outrage from some about 'grassing' and bans combined with reasoning that accusations of child abuse are ok? ... Here's a thought ... both should be unacceptable to real men ffs. If your idea of 'bantz' is that if you start to lose a verbal exchange on a football forum it's fair game to start calling someone a nonce then you are just a sad cnut in my book ... plenty of good comebacks without resorting to that.

to be honest, it depends on the crime as to whether I'll grass or not, and I mean crime rather than objectionable post on an internet forum.

Please, let me lay this one to rest, once and for all. I have never written to any of the super-mods asking for anyone to be banned. Yes, on this board, I suggested that bans should be used to curb the pages and pages of bollocks that was being written by a very small number of idiot posters, claiming that I and Saintsfan08 are one-and-the-same poster, but that was out of sheer desperation for the fact that such bollocks was ruining this board. It was done openly and partly in jest. If you go back and look at my comments, any fool will see that all I really wanted was for the bollocks to stop. The request for temporary (not permanent) bans was mooted half in jest. My "request for a ban" was done openly, on this board, in the full glare of my peers. Please do not confuse this with Pixie's deplorable conduct in sneaking off behind all of our backs, and effectively lying to the super-mods, in order to get me banned and to silence me to prevent me exposing the full and true extent of his monstrous obsession with me. My tags to Bodinki (with Bod's full consent - a fact that Pixie withheld from the super-mod, when he petitioned him for my ban in order to silence me) had reached in excess of 300 within the 48 hours before my ban. Had I continued to tag Bod for the full extent of the week - as I openly stated to everyone that I would do - they would have reached in excess of 1,200, without any reply from me. That was the reason why Pixie took the unhanded action of lying to the super-mod and demanding that I be banned. Thanks to you lads, Pixie has been named-and-shamed, and held to account for his ill-advised and treacherous actions, and the super-mod (who banned me on Pixie's lies) cut short my ban. I trust that I have clarified your thinking for you, on this subject, Bambi?
I do it about once a year. Usually when it's all kicking off. Sometimes it takes a madman to run an asylum, then once it settles again, someone new comes in.
Where does the banning end? I don't condone sa's comments about child abuse in any way and it has no place on this or any other board as a matter of common decency. But why has skiddy's comments using someone's aspergers diagnosis as a means to demean and belittle them been totally ignored? Fosse, for example, said he saw nothing wrong with them comments and look at him now, whinging about unacceptable behaviour and, ironically enough, double standards

You asked for me to be banned (on several occasions) but the supermod made you cry. I asked for you to be banned and the supermod did it. That's the only difference, you're not really in any position to be complaining about it to be honest.
So in short ... you are admitting to being a 'grass' then Quentin? ... just remind us what the posters in question had done do deserve such an extreme punishment on an 'un-moderated' board ? ... ...did any accuse you of being a nonce? ... or other criminal type activities?
