Kroenke doesn't say much but he did stick his head above the parapet to say success isn't everything and that Arsenal wouldn't spend to compete with the biggest spenders in the transfer market. It's about financial returns now and has been since Dein went. They need a Pochettino who can build something on a budget and effectively overachieve. That's not AW any more but he does bring in the UCL money. If he makes top 4, he stays for my money. I heard there's 8/11 on him still being in-post on the last day of this season. That's free money, no?
Wenger was fortunate to have picked up a few players that turned out to be exceptional goalscorers....and a lot of choppers in defence!
According to the BBC, Wenger has told Ian Wright that this season will be his last. If that is the case that 8/11 is free money. Unlikely they will sack him if he's going to go anyway. Shame, I was hoping he'd do at least another 3 years.
Wright actually said that he felt he was coming to the end of his time. That doesn't necessarily mean that this is the last season.
I read that Wengers contract comes to an end at the end of the season and 'that will be that'. If Wenger loses Sanchez and Wurzil, which is probable together with a few big name likely departures, is he going to want to start team building from scratch? Doubtful.

Rangers have announced the resignation of Mark Warburton and his coaching team. The problem with that? He knew nothing about it and hasn't offered to resign! ****ing shambles. Hope he gets another decent job in England, so we can start loaning him players again. Seemed to get decent performances out of anyone we sent his way, pretty much.
Didn't think either handball should be given to be honest, but that's the second time it's happened in Arsenal's favour this season, they're very lucky to be able to keep scoring without even shooting. Hull were well worth a draw today but it didn't go their way. Someone needs to clarify the handball rule though, I don't think anyone knows quite how it's supposed to be interpreted. Even by the Emirates' standards the atmosphere was shocking today, Wenger needs to keep reminding them to be more like Spurs fans until they get the message.
I thought that both were handballs. The first was for having his hand in an unnatural position and the second was just deliberate. Arsenal should've been a man light too, when Markovic got taken out.
The handball rule needs to be changed. If it hits your hand and you gain an advantage it should be an indirect free kick.
