Our eleven game unbeaten run faces a serious challenge this weekend, as we visit a ground where we rarely win.
Our recent performances haven't been quite as good as they could be and this will be a real test.
A win here would make a big statement.

Our hosts have been in very poor form since the turn of the year, but I expect them to turn up for this one.
Their only win in 9 January games was a 1-0 away win at Plymouth.
Respectable draws with Man Utd and Chelsea were washed away by other results.
Southampton won both legs of their League Cup semi-final, while Wolves knocked them out of the FA Cup.
League losses to Swansea and Hull rounded off a bad month and Klopp will be furious at their run.

Here are the highlights of that loss to Wolves:

Our trip to Liverpool last season was a disappointing draw.
We started brightly, but then were opened up on a few occasions, before Coutinho put them ahead.
Kane equalised shortly after that and we looked like we could nick it, but it wasn't to be.

The game at the Lane was similarly disappointing, but as much for the performance as the result.
Liverpool were well on top in the first half, though Mane was very fortunate to stay on the pitch.
A dubious foul on Firmino allowed Milner to give them the lead just before the break.
We looked better in the second half and Rose leveled things up, which was how it ended.

No suspensions for this one, but Rose, Vertonghen, Trippier, N'Koudou and Lamela are all injured.
Liverpool have no suspensions either, but long-term injuries to Grujic and Ings rule them out.
Klavan, Lovren, Ejaria and Brannagan may all return to contention, though.

Do we need to adjust the system for this one or do we stick with the 4-2-3-1?
Did Son's energetic but wasteful performance do enough to keep him in the team?

Hate to say this but I suspect Liverpool will rediscover their form against Spurs, before tailing off once again!

More than happy to be proven wrong though. I suspect Spurs preferred tactics would have been 3-4-3 but with their defensive injuries, this may not happen, e.g., no Rose on the left and no Verts in defence.
 
We'll certainly be up for it and wont be as **** as we have been against some lately, we are in need of a win and will be aggresive if you can keep a cean sheet for an hour you may well nick one.

We've got a couple injuries at the back so keeping a clean sheet is likely going to be tough but I fancy us to score against your defence and keeper, they've massively let you down this season far too many times. I even called the second Hull goal a good 5 minutes prior to it happening, it was just crying out for a ball over the top of your CB's.
 
I hated going to anfield up until a few years back we used to be the butt of all jokes we last won when the titanic went down in 1912 was one of them:emoticon-0121-angry.been there many times from the seventies on wards and never saw us win glad I ain't going this week I must be a jinx <laugh>.normally I would be happy with a draw but under the circumstances I think if we really want to catch chelski we need to win and burnley to do a job on them. A hull win this weekend would also go down very well <laugh>.COYS

I thought you were a Wycombe fan Rocky?
 
If we don't win then forget it. That should be team talk enough. As much as I believe the Pool will be up for this, we need to out up them or we are not ready. We need to get results away to big teams now and again. Its another 6 pointer for me.

I supported spurs since I was seven mate been to too many games to mention. I only started going to watch wycombe when I moved there a few years back and made a lot of new friends plus having 4 kids and a mortgage at the time limited funds meant spurs had to take a backseat. Only one team for me in my heart and that's the spurs. Wycombe are just my local team who I like to do well.
