Can't believe it's a whole decade since this classic album was released!...It's from the supergroup made up from among others Damon Albarn and legendary Clash Bassist, Paul Simonon. Bits of it are very later period Clash like, which is probably why I love it so much.
I can't pick out individual tracks and as it is a kind of concept album about London it is best enjoyed in its' entirety. I really think that it is Damon's best work outside of Blur.....

Apparently there are new songs written for a follow up album, can't wait for that!

Ten years! No way! I was just playing some of this to my son last week, trying to explain my argument with him that Damon Albarn is a musical genius, and has more talent in his little toe than Liam Gallagher will ever garner! He's finally starting to give in, but is still overly an Oasis fan over Blur....think it may be an age thing, and he'll start to understand when he matures a bit more!! But I have converted him to Radiohead, so he's not all bad!!!

I didn't get Radiohead until after being given a copy of Hail to the thief and being told by my mate to "listen to it"!

Well it worked and made me see the errors of my way. It blew my socks off and I then finnaly descoverd all the back catalogue.

Love Blur, Radiohead and you have to admit Noel Gallagher is a very tallented song writer!

i still dont get radiohead

This is a wonderful acoustic version of Creep, allowing you to really listen to the lyrics....Thom Yorke may look like a water vole, but his writing is amazing.

I get that some people just don't like Radiohead, but having seen them live about ten years ago (and this summer coming - can't wait) trust me, they are amazing musicians.
