Sonny T & Brownie Mc were big supporters of the early UK festivals of the late 60's & early 70's - I saw them at Reading when it was still predominantly a Jazz & Blues festival, there were quite a few American Blues acts on whose names I can't recall, the harmonica play of Sonny Terry is something I'll take to my grave. I was too young for The Beatles, I didn't start really earning enough money for gigs AND football until 1970, by then the Beatles had gone and The Stones were just too expensive. Had lots of chances to see The Who but for various reasons I missed out.
The Specials and The Sector. There'll be loads I've missed off, I went to gigs all the time in the late 70's/early 80's.

Anyone else at the John Williams concert at City Hall tonight? If you fancy coming over and giving me a good punch in the face, this is my viewpoint...
It certainly seems to have stopped being 'something different'. Tell 'em to take their **** to their own thread Stan. Go on. Go on go on go an.
Probably the best seats. Can see the whole orchestra and don't hear one instrument louder than it should be. Also yes, they are the cheap seats.
