There's been a lot of rumours of us trying to sign him, I'm all for it, The more world-class players in our team, the better, I'm sure he's a Manchester United fan, I know his Idol growing up was David Beckham, Hence why he wears the number 7 shirt at Atletico Madrid.

Only problem with that is

A) Beckham played for Real Madrid not Atletico.

B) He wore the number 23 shirt there.

But other than that, I'm convinced <ok>

You won't get him now - the exchange rate atm would push the fee higher and could reach what you paid for Pogba.

The summer would be a strong possibility if you get into the Champions League - you have already freed up his favoured shirt number...
 
Lot's of paper talk today, so the rumour is gathering momentum. I do remember him saying he would never leave while Simeone was still in charge and with him cutting short his contract (not to mention the massive cost of a new stadium to meet) it does look likely to happen. Whether he will come to us is quite another thing even though he is just what we need - a bit like Rooney as a youngster.

If all the rumours are true, you will get around half his price when Rooney leaves for China as well.

Well, we may prove that Spanish scumbag correct tomorrow by not being able to beat a difficult Watford side. Whereas I think the RS are hot favourites to smash the Spurs. Difficult weekend for United and JM <ok>
