It seems such a crying shame that Adam Armstrong is at Barnsley. Geordie, gives 100%, cracking finisher. Two games he could have had, one up top vs Oxford, one with Murphy, and by all accounts could have scored 6.
I know I should say Rafa knows best, but on some players he's not much different from the last two clowns in charge.

The fans in the ground were admirable, mind. Would have been easy to boo Perez after those shocking misses, but to be fair he created them. I still don't think he's anywhere near ready, but he won't be starting on Saturday either, so....
There's nothing to really moan about. Freak own goal, we drew. Look at the top clubs. Bar Chelsea, who's living up to expectation?! Man U with a fantastic home draw to Hull, who should have actually won.
I don't agree I can see it in his face mate he's still young and offers more than others that have been **** for years
Look at how many interceptions he makes for a striker I think it's admirable personally

That square ball tonight ti Ritchie was not easy if you watch it and if he's done it and failed to find him you'd say he should have taken the shot
Another thing is if it was an opposition player at our end and our keeper saved it we'd say darkiw made a good save rather than say their strikers ****.
Ritchie was wrong to shout at him because it resulted in him trying to make friends when HE created his own chance tackling at the end
First half Perez was far worse than second half Perez!! I agree entirely that if Ritchie had kept his sh!t together, Perez may well have scored our third. There's just not enough togetherness still in this squad, they are still too nervous. They need to block crowd restlessness out and get on with the game. This is why away games are so much easier, but long may that continue. Rafa needs to work on psychology as much as anything. Get Uri Gellar in.
That said - man of the match, Alex Smithies. How many away goalkeepers have won that fcking award at SJP!!!

I cant remember the last time we played well and sat in the east stand confident..we are slow,predictable and ****ing boring tbh....I put 20 quid on the draw on in play at 7 to 1..knowing newcastle will **** it up...On paper we should be pissing this league but something is just not right ...Dont know what it is but its not right
As for Perez all he had to do twice was square the ball to ritchie and its game over but no he shots then does a high loop ball effort thing to ritchie the 2nd time ffs hes ****e,a piss poor week fanny ****.
Im not convinced and its not a knee jerk after tonight its been a while hope im wrong but i can see play off heart break lerking...its in our hands as we have all thre top 6 to play i think so lets hoping eh.

At the beginning of the season when we where getting results and bossing games Rafa was rotating the team a lot more. Now he seems to go same team same tactics and same ****. What has changed. He was really mixing it up at the beginning of the season and we where winning...... I'm just saying maybe players are getting complacent!
