Martin O'Neill was apparently our worst manager for blowing money. He wasted 30 million on Fletcher, Johnson, Graham and N'Diaye.

David Moyes has brought in, N'Dong, Djilobodji, Love, McNair, Oviedo and Gibson. 34.5 million.

To say he hasn't had the money, simply isn't true. His signings have been very underwhelming for the money spent and so have the player performances. There's absolutely no way we would recoup the money spent on player sales, so it has put the club back even further.

His tactics are unknown/****e and he seemingly couldn't motivate a dick in a brothel. I know plenty agree with him signing his old chums, that's fine, we all have our opinions. My opinion is it is an absolute joke and the man needs to broaden his football knowledge on players worldwide, or at least, outside of the ****ing North West.

He was left a very good, and confident, set of players. He shifted Lens on when he looked keen and has never gave Khazri a chance. Although Januzaj is good enough. <doh>

I don't see where he is taking us on the field, because I don't see a plan with him. If it wasn't for us needing solidarity and continuity, at all costs. I'd be saying we have the wrong man. He's created a terrible squad and I don't think anybody coming in could sort this bag of ****e out.

Lets just hope he can get his act together and give us a plan for next season, which at the moment, looks almost certainly to be a division below us.

Disagree with most of that, think in most part it's total bollocks with lots of finger pointing but nowt in line of what could be done different. I can see where it will go so i'm out of this one.
 
Fletcher should be still here instead of Borini, Ndong is Moyes's best signing and that's it, we needed a striker last summer but he will not bring one in for some reason, £7.5 m for a striker is peanuts nowadays but won't go higher so we are knackered now if Defoe gets injured, even Berbatov could do a job. This has to be our worst transfer window.

Don't agree about Fletcher, crap attitude and couldn't hold the ball up to save his life. Borini is a much better player despite having his own flaws.

Don't see the point of criticising the last two signings who haven't kicked a ball yet, we need to give them a chance, his two big summer signings aren't looking like good business though, N'Dong adds a lot of physicality but he looks a limited footballer to me and Pappy is generally a poor defender that we wasted far too much on. I would say his transfers last summer were generally poor especially when you consider that we missed out on M'Villa as well and Moyse has been well up against it in the transfer market this month, can't blame him for that in our situation, his free players that he's brought in have been pretty good and added something to the team.

But can we dismiss what has been said about the use of those methods not getting to the root of the problem. Secondly, the pre-season training preparation were devised by our coaches and signed off by Sam.

The report nicely glosses over our injury problems, which I feel is one of the biggest contributors to our position.

Agreed, but he didn't oversee it and that's all he done really, just signed it off and then he was on his way.

We can't dismiss what people say about not getting to the root of the problem with injuries, we would need to see at least a couple of seasons of it to see how our players hold up. At the moment, all I can comment on is what we witnessed. That was Sam had the players fit and kept injuries down.

No argument there. But we will not know how we would have coped with the circumstances so far this season.

This pretty much echoes the thread i wrote about him last week regarding the money hes spent.
 
We we're signing N'Dong and Papy even with Sam here. :headbang:
this scapegoating is ****ing pathetic. FFS we had a bid in for Papy when he chose Chelsea over us. We were linked with Ndong before Sam left, it's been confirmed we bid for him when the window opened and chased him for the entire window. Ignore all that and blame them on Moyes. Pathetic.

As a swans fan i am glad you kept Moyes as it makes it easier for us and that's me being selfish.....He is a nice man and all that but he is a bit clueless....
