Why? He's only been signed as cover till the end of season and the amount of injuries we pick up he will be needed at some point
It was tongue in cheek, mate. I know he will be needed, he's just gone to **** now. I said it last season when Villa came to the SOL. He looked finished, then.
That's an interesting shout but the lad has a wembley appointment so doubt he would risk missing that.
Just realised Aston Villa's new signing Jacob Bedeau was in little aston hospital having his medical this morning. He was in the MRI scanner before me. So if you want to know whats going on in the transfer market book yourself an appointment in a private hospital near a training ground the morning of deadline day. I did not see Scott Hogan there so he has not done his medical yet. I should have gone in my Sunderland shirt this morning.
Close to tears here watching sky sports! Reporter 'It seems the word coming from Sunderland here is unless Leicester change their mind, they'll be no more signings'. Either quote someone or shut up! If we don't get someone in we're knackered!
Starting to feel that way too. Though I've just read a chronicle article that reckons Southampton might listen to offers for Shane Long or Rodriguez if they sign Manolo Gabbiadini. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/spor...could-napolis-manolo-gabbiadini-help-12533336
Current Plan A = Defoe up top alone. Current Plan B = Defoe injured, so Borini up top alone. Current Plan C = John O Shea up top!
Austin's out injured, so can't see them letting either go and with respect I couldn't see either wanting to leave to go to Sunderland, with a cup final just under 4 weeks away.
LATEST ON AROUNA KONE Here's the latest from our Sky Sports News HQ reporter Alan Irwin on Evertonforward Arouna Koune... “I know from my contacts that there have been enquiries and offers for Arouna Kone but they are from Championship clubs and overseas," he said. "Kone wants to stay in the Premier League so I would imagine if David Moyes and Sunderland made a reasonable offer then he may well consider it.”
