It's an intriguing game mate.

By the sounds of it he's going to stick Mane straight back in and it's obvious that his loss has made that team look extremely average. His return could spark you back into life, but equally an early Chelsea goal could see you crumble.

I suspect Mane will be ****e like he was prior to flying off to ACON. The benefit of having him back is the team balance it brings.

But our players get jet-lagged going from their Southport homes to the ground. It's why they all need 7 days between games.

So we're ****ed for the rest of the season too then?

15 games in 102 days is an average of 6.8 days <yikes>

Roberto Firmino is available for selection against Chelsea.
LIVERPOOL -- Roberto Firmino can play in Tuesday's home game against Chelsea after an impending court date was pushed back by 24 hours.

Firmino had been due to appear in court on Jan. 31 after he was charged with drink-driving on Christmas Eve.

However, Liverpool & Knowsley Magistrates Court told ESPN FC that Firmino would now appear on Feb. 1 after a request for the date to be moved.

The Brazil international forward has scored nine goals for Liverpool this season.

Last month, Merseyside Police confirmed that Firmino had been charged after his car was pulled over in Liverpool city centre.

The player has scored 17 goals in 67 appearances since joining Liverpool from Hoffenheim for £29 million in July 2015.

Will be interesting to see what Klopp does now. He didn't play Matip after Fifa granted permission for him to play claiming Matip hadn't been involved in the training leading up to the game. One would assume that is the case for Firmino (and Mane) going into this match...

He's already contradicted himself once in January saying he didn't bring Moreno in for the injured Clyne because it would have meant disrupting two position (Milner switch to RB) rather than one but we've moved Lallana to RW to accommodate Mane being missing.

I think klopp on that game was within an acceptable threshold of risk.

If he prepared his team for Swansea with matip and lovren and found out at 6pm (18hours before kick off) that matip could not play he'd look thick.

In this case we've already been told clyne has not trained so i am assuming he will not play. Firmino is in court, theres no way a) he's actually going to court it'll be his brief r b) he's going to be sentenced today so its not about propartion its about questions asked

Same for mane. he will be on bench.

As for moreno.. he's **** so klopp lied to avoid saying he would rather drill a hole in his own skull with a spoon than play the gobshite.

So, you've given up reading too then... <laugh>

I have more confidence in us beating Chelsea (or at least making a game of it) than when we played Plymouth, Wolves, Sunderland, Saints or Swansea. I don't know why everyone is so downbeat and practically calling this a loss already

I think weve a chance too :)

I bet that makes you pause...

Evening game under lights so should be good atmosphere. Enough of these early kick off games, we can't cope playing 12:30 on a Saturday! 2 defeats in a row playing early doors.

If players cant get up for game at home, against team at top and rivals after a couple of defeats then need a real kick up ass. Should show who has the bottle to step up and not hide
