Assuming the game goes ahead, what would your starting 11 be for Stoke on Sunday (remember Studge is on a ban).

I'd say

Cech
Ivan Alex Terry Cole
Mikel Lampard Benayoun
Anelka Malouda
Torres

If it was at home I'd be tempted with Josh but might be a big ask for him to start at Stoke.
 
Maybe but with the Brazilian boys only having been back less than a week my idea of a starting eleven would be;

Boswinga,Ivan,Terry,Cole
Mikel,Lampard,Benayoun
Anelka,Drogba,Malouda
 
Fair shout, forgot about Alex being away also. Left out Luiz and Ramieres yet put Alex in...Doh.

Therefore your team but with Torres up front. We HAVE to get him firing and he wont do it on the bench.
 
im pretty sure lukku hasnt signed just yet so he wont play.....

that would be my team... i really want josh to play a lot this season... he is quality
 
Luiz very unlikely to play as hasn't featured pre season.

Who do you think will hold in that midfield 3? I would be astounded if Mikel didn't play against Stoke (due to essien injury and ramieres also absent during pre season).

Agree with Josh but I'm not sure this is the type of game for him to start.

i would love to see josh start but i can't see that. i would also love sturridge to start ahead of nico.
