Hold out and risk it. I'm sure you could cheaper on resale sites, or pay a bit more and get a club Wembley ticket.
I was thinking on my way home from work that I reckon I could blend in. Well until Prowse knocks one in the top corner in the last 10 minutes... Would probably miss us lifting the trophy
Or do the head in hand pose, pretend to be upset. Once all the united fans have left whip the saints scarf out and go crazy for the trophy lift.
I tried to blend in in the North Stand at Old Trafford once. It was all going well until Kevin Phillips equalised from 20 yards out. If I'd been in the Stretford End I think they'd have thrown me off the edge.
I was sat behind the directors box for that game. I blended in really well until that very moment. Me jumping up and shouting "Get in" may have been what blew my cover. Bloody Kevin Phillips! I was also sat on my own in the Stretford end for the Le Tiss/Taibi game. I managed to control myself for the Pahars nutmeg on Jip Jap Stam and the Le Tiss goals but people forget the very end of that game. Beattie was threw one v one in the last minute and the keeper saved it. By then some fans were leaving but I was up on my feet and head in hands when he missed. I got a bit of abuse, but no trouble. Think they were too pissed off.
Right, I've got access to a ticket via my uncles season ticket. He's a senior! This may sound silly, but will this show on the ticket as it will be a concession I think. I'm not a senior, merely middle aged! Otherwise I'm gonna have to think of something else.
On the OS it says that U18 and U11 season tickets can't be used to buy an adult ticket but it doesn't say anything about using adult concession season tickets to buy an adult ticket. I think you will be OK to do that but probably worth checking with the ticket office beforehand.
I disagree with jacks I read it as those as examples. It clearly says no tickets can be upgraded. Phone to check.
I wouldn't call them. Non transferable is pretty clear to me. Ringing the club to alert them to what you might try won't help. Either chance it or don't imo.
Are the tickets scrutinised at Wembley, or is there a similar "scan the barcode" system, like at SMS? If they're not scrutinised, surely no one will know who is holding a concessionary ticket and who isn't?
Scanners. At St Marys, a light goes on for a concession and a steward checks as you walk through. Don't know about checks at Wembley....could have cameras.
No checks at Wembley, and often at St Mary's there isn't a student watching all the lights. Wembley you just walk straight through, a 90 year old could get in with a child's ticket.
