Who would we like? Man City away for me, can't stand that lot and we'd get allocated about 7,000 since the 15% rule applies. We'd get beaten but it'd be a good chance to bow out early and focus on the League while still showing a bit of what we're about. A man can dream.
Man City or Chelsea are the only mega bucks teams that we need now, weve had scum, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham over past couple of seasons
I would like a low end prem club, just to show the divide isnt that great. A good run out against Wolves/Wigan (no offence to those teams) & then a big gun in the next round. Both at home of course
Tomorrow night after the Sheff Wednesday game. Apparently Man City, Chelsea and the likes don't enter till the third round so it won't be one of them. I guess Everton or Villa would be a good tie home or away.
Home match against a lower division team, I would like us to go another round before meeting a bigger name club.
Yeah I'm sure Beckford would be well received. The 'scum ****hole' song still gets sung from time to time so I don't think anyone remembers him for the negatives.
ah yes, clubs in europe get a by dont they. that being the case I would like an away match at a good old fashioned ground with terracing. ver mind the fac Beckford should always be given a heroes wlecome, how anyone could not is beyond me. People still go on about Flynn scoring the winner at OT in 81 and he did fek all else for us, never mind score the goals that got us promoted from L1 on top of that. Beckford should be given the freedom of the flippin city.
Yeah we're seeded so it looks likely we'll get some fourth division no-marks. Good fun away, load of ****e at home.
I always like to visit a ground I haven`t been to but if I had to have a repeat ground I`d want Carlisle away, love the old school stadium and the drive up there.
Yes, and also one of the worst. They had 16k packed in when we first went up there in L1 and they beat us 3-1, it was absolutely rocking. Even though we lost I loved the atmposhere, first proper ground we had been to in years with terraces etc.
Always be a hero in my eyes. Left at the right time for both himself and the club and you can't blame him for his decision.
He saw out his contract, stayed the course and reached the goal. Can`t ask for more than that unless you live in a dream world.
