Haha you know what I meant. I actually really fancy us against United, and I would sooner we won and I wasn't able to get a ticket than we get beat and I was
Got a huge dilemma. My dad has only been to 6 home games and wants me to wait buying my final ticket so he can get his at the same time. I really don't want to risk it but I also don't want to end up in the situation of me going to the final and he's unable to because it sold out. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place.
True. Wembley on Sunday is different to Italy on Thursday but I take your point. I think they stopped at 5 for a reason - they think it will get there. My concern is the new sign ups for members. Wish I could of bumped upto 7...
They will have attended enough home games anyway so entitled to purchase membership and get tickets. My mum and brother both didn't have memberships, but attended 5 matches. My brother also went to Inter away, and to Liverpool away on Wednesday. They've both bought memberships today to give them a decent chance of getting tickets.
I spoke to my contact at the club and was told that the players have not yet been told how many tickets they can get, but they'd already had at least 30 requests from friends and family! I joined the back of the queue :-( but at least I am in the queue!
I'm in the same position as you. A member with 6 home games. I'm pretty positive as they obviously have all the data available to them and have felt the need for an extra day of sales after 6.
I think your Dad needs to take it on the chin. Take him to the pub tonight, put your arm around him and say, "Dad, it's like this....."
Yeah but they won't have been accounted for when the club did their maths in working out the criteria is what I mean. So the club may have been confident of it reaching the final window but it may have changed now.
Don't give up hope they quite often say sold but if it's a single req'd it'll be worth going to ground and asking them to check, don't take standard sold out as final.they often have singles dotted about.Good luck.
That's a difficult conversation with your Dad, as you've known him all your life. The wife however... she needs to do the maths
