I have a rolling contract at work, I don't get told when they renew my contract each year, it just happens. Though I do get a meeting to discuss salary which I guess counts, but Snodgrass had the equivalent conversation where he turned down the new contract so...
Van Dijk probably out for 3 months so unlikely to go anywhere until summer. Unless we have a straight swap now
Because according to BumChinnedCrab Snodgrass knew he had a problem with his knee before he signed for City.
Snodgrass hardly hid that though, Norwich were fully aware of it. If we somehow didn't know he'd had knee issues the previous season that's again our own fault.
I have no idea whether Snodgrass was telling the whole world he had an existing problem before signing for City or whether he only talked about it after he dislocated it in his first game for City. I'm just going on what BCB said.
We performed a medical on him before signing him. Unless we just asked him to tick boxes for pre-existing conditions and didn't actually examine him in any way, that's the only way you could catch him out on lying on a form, but we surely would have performed some sort of scans, we aren't that amateur... are we?
I don't understand why we are taking so long to sign players. There is 3/4 days left. Surely the quicker they're in the longer they have to settle in. Ehab loves deadline day too much but I don't understand the need for everything to be done so last minute.
Van Dijk to a top team in summer for about £45m and Maguire to saints for about £10m seems very possible. The Southampton production line keeps running.
The entire concept of a rolling contract is that it has to roll over. Rolling over is essentially renewing.
Crikey Is that the new gripe we arnt signing players quick enough hahahaha ffs Is nobody happy on here?
